the auspicious hour. [Mar. 13th, 2008|10:40 pm]
Ohkay, and so thursday morning i send a text message to the bride, (afraid that she might be disturbed by my message) telling her to put her key into a cup of water and freeze it.

Some of the tasks, which the boys were asked to do. -carefully planned by 7 fairies (:

Task 1 - Sing loud enough for the bride, locked behide doors to hear. They done a good job, as it's really loud with a capital L.
Task 2 - Sour, sweet, bitter, spicy. They ate up wasabi with bitter gourd filled bread. Drank mixed beverage, (- a total of 3 cups) which is made-up of milk, sugar, salt, condense milk, bitter gourd, and more...
Task 3 - Pole dancing, performed by the groom, and one of his brothers to be the pole. (- not very sporting)
Task 4 - Questions and answer time, in which 10 push-up for every wrong answer.
Task 5 - Melt the key, to enter the house (- no smashing of the ice), but not carried out as planned due to the auspicious hour. The boys were dragging far too long.
Task 6 - Declaration of love on bended knees. (- loud giggles by bridemaid and the bride) Afterwhich, the groom slot the stack of red packets underneath the door, and is quickly snatch away to count the amount of cash inside.

( junie, me, with lots of angbao, su keng, wei fang, shiyu and yu pei! Lols. )

Afterwhich, we went over to plaza singapura to get our foams, and shopped around. Eat, shops, and play with our eyelids half-open. We went home pretty early to sleep. (- because we woke up at an unearthly hour, 4.30am)

Fresh mango shaved ice with mango sherbet and condense milk, fresh mango with meat floss egg crepe was simply heavenly. And so was the fried dumpling.

Happy Chinese New Year ! [Feb. 6th, 2008|02:27 pm]

Anyway, Chinese New Year has always been a meaningful festive season to all Chinese. And red packets are one of the most important things, that we look forward too...

Other than that, there are three things, I also cannot miss during this period. To me, they are the ones that defines my Chinese New Year.

1. Sucidal cholestrol clotting cum calories indulging, saliva drooling, mega-crusine festing session.
Oh my, how can Chinese New Year be completed without a table spread out with fine cuisine. The time of the year, risking our figure going parallel, but i don't give a heck. ( It's worth that sacrifice ).

2. The Annual Gambling King Competition
From house to house, all becomes gambling den. Windfall befalls.

3. Family bond.
To many, Chinese New Year may mean many things, but to me, it is an important period of the year, in which, we had the strongest family bond. I treasure the time we stay together, drink & eat merry.  Nothing beats making my family feel bonded and happy.

Here, I would like to wish everyone a PROSPEROUS HAPPY NEW YEAR! Earn money until you take out your white underwear and surrender!

Arab st. [Jan. 1st, 2008|04:25 am]

Magnificient view of fireworks, at the strike of 12 a.m. Shisha - at arab st while enjoying each others company laughing, chatting and relaxing with shared apricot and mixed fruit - shisha. I really like the atmosphere, sitting around with friends, sharing the different flavored shishas, and just simply enjoying each others company. Hahas.

There’s no alcohol or fancy food (oh well...), just mint tea or carbonated drinks and snacks, making it a unique alternative to the cosmopolitan bars and clubs.

the wait is killing me [Nov. 2nd, 2007|11:30 pm]

soon it will be the time to get ready to burn your books.

2 MORE PAPERS TO GO BUT IT IS LITERALLY KILLING ME.
(Freedom is ahead of me, and I'm definately due for a celebration.)
Afterwhich, there is a very high possibility that i'll sleep away for the whole of november, to make-up for those sleepless nights that i've been suffering and then it's play-time !

Speaking of which, next tuesday is officially the end of 2007 O's.
Good luck and best wishes to everyone, who is waiting anxiously for the long arrival of this day.

chill in the air [Jun. 23rd, 2007|07:22 am]

Ohkay, you want to know what sucks? Having 5/6 hours of sleep, and constantly being kept awake. What is in the world with everyone, who kept calling?

It's 8am in the morning, I'm feeling so stoned right now, and dawn just left my place. I wanna blog about yesterday, but nothing seems to come into my mind because I'm feeling too tired and sleepy. I had only about 6 hours of sleep the day before, so I'd thought I'll be walking like a zombie, but I'm still quite awake since yesterday and able to function. I try to do so many things in a day that my sleep time is sacrified. That's because my break term is coming to an end in 2 days time. Ohkay, enough about school matters and back to my day spent at? k-buffet package with a divine selection of food such as sharkfin's soup, cream of mushroom soup, a variety of sushi, clams, satays, nuggets, sotong balls, wedges and much more. After which, we went over to starbucks. I ordered Java chip frappucino, heavenly. Dawn's came over to my house, to update her cute blog. Also, pardon if this entry is quite messy. I'm just typing whatever comes into my mind. Alright, I'll update again soon.

After a long day, nothing beats a nice, comfortable bed to sleep in. Good night, people !

her late night supper [Jun. 17th, 2007|07:23 pm]

I am blogging in a bit before going to mac's later, dawn's wana use my lap-top to update her blog.

And so, yesterday supper at hong kong's cafe was fabulous for a cause, great food and conversation with my horrendous laughter. Like finally after so long.  I was also cursing and swearing at dawn's stupid jokes. For once, my food turned out to be really delicious !

there was this manager (uncle), who annoyed the shit out of me, coming over to our table every 5 minutes or so and ask us " how's the food "? For god's sake, uncle you ask us about 4 or 5 times.
after;
our initial plan was to take the bus, but to found out that there wasn't any night-rider. It was raining cats and dogs, so we cabbed down to northpoint's macdonalds to slack instead.

we slacked till dawn; 6.45am and went home to sleep, long night indeed. My stomach's churning right now, must be all the great food i'd last night.
